I knocked on over a thousand doors for obama over the last few weeks (in ohio) and I am pleased to report that my county is a pleasant blue color. I am also pleased to report that my state went for obama, as did the nation and that florida might soon as well.

If I were English I would be ashamed to death of England. Now Obama and his people are bringing all that madness here. Even if I completely lose my country I still have my identity as an individual. I can build a new life for myself somewhere else where my talents are appreciated, and if enough of my people relocate with me we can create a new nation somewhere else. I was thinking about going to South Korea for work, where I have had multiple job offers, and then retiring to either Costa Rica, Argentina, or India.

Government has virtually no control over the price of gas (and no proper conservative would want it to.) Petroleum is a durable commodity that is globally traded and speculated on. Gas prices were low in 2009 because the economy was in the crapper. Nothing still has changed from the Bush era. We are still in wars that we shouldn’t be in. Pot is still illegal by federal law. Romneycare (which was repackaged as Obamacare) still is fucked up.
We still have the dollar depreciating at an incredible rate, due to an inflation of production of those same dollars.
From my point of view, we are just seeing the 8 years of Bush being repeated but under the name of Obama.
